We're not a national franchise routing your address to a call center in another state. We live here, we buy here, and we're the people who show up at your door.
Visionary Ventures buys houses directly from homeowners across Suffolk and Nassau County. We pay cash, we buy the property in whatever condition it's in, and we close on the date the seller picks.
Most of the people who call us aren't selling because the house is in bad shape. They're selling because something in life moved — an inherited property two hours away, a divorce, a job in another state, a parent who needs care, a tenant who stopped paying. The traditional listing process assumes you have three months and a budget for repairs. Sometimes you have neither.
What we actually do
We buy the house, we fix it, and we put it back into the housing stock in better condition than we found it. That's the whole business. The renovation work is managed in-house rather than farmed out, which is why we can look at a property with real problems and still name a number.
What we won't do
We won't give you a number over the phone and then cut it after the walkthrough. We won't tie you up in a long option agreement while we shop the contract around. And if we look at your situation and think listing on the open market would put more money in your pocket, we will say so — even though that means we don't buy the house.
